How long does it take to move my gallery from Excel to Galexivo?
You don't move it — we do. Every gallery's data looks different (different column names, different formats, different software entirely), so instead of asking you to fight with an importer, we offer free white-glove migration. Send us your spreadsheet, your Google Sheet, your CSV from another gallery system, or even a folder of photos with a notebook. A real person on our team migrates everything into your Galexivo account within 24 hours, including images, contacts, and past exhibitions. Your first migration is free for every plan.
Do I keep ownership of my artwork data and website content?
Yes — completely. You can export everything in CSV, JSON, or print-ready PDF at any time, including images. We do not lock you in. If you ever leave Galexivo, you walk out with everything.
Is my collector data and pricing private?
Yes. Your data lives in an isolated database per customer. Other Galexivo customers cannot see it, and we do not share it with anyone. Your collector emails are yours.
What does "AI built in" actually mean? Will it cost extra?
Studio AI is included with every plan. It uses Galexivo's own infrastructure, so there are no per-token bills, no separate API keys, no surprise charges at the end of the month. You get voice cataloging, AI artwork descriptions, AI blog tools, AI translation, and image generation as part of your subscription.
Can I sell originals, limited editions, and merchandise from one storefront?
Yes. The shop supports unique works, edition runs (with edition numbers), and merchandise. Stock counts decrement on sale and a sold piece is removed from the public listing automatically.
How does the print-catalog feature work?
Drag artworks onto pages, choose a layout (full-bleed image, image plus caption, two-up, four-up), set ISBN and publisher metadata, and export a print-ready PDF sized for Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing. Upload to KDP and your catalog is on Amazon for sale within 72 hours.
Can multiple staff use Galexivo with different permissions?
Yes. The Gallery plan includes 5 admin users and the Atelier plan is unlimited. Every user has a role — manager (full access) or curator (content management only) — so junior staff cannot accidentally delete a sale.
What happens if I cancel?
We keep your data accessible for 30 days so you can export everything. After that we delete it. Your public website goes offline at the end of your billing period. There are no cancellation fees.
Is Galexivo GDPR compliant?
Yes. We process customer data on Cloudflare's EU network when you choose an EU region, and we provide GDPR-compliant export and deletion tools for your collectors' data on request. We never sell or share your collector list.
Do you support multi-currency for international collectors?
Yes. The shop displays prices in your gallery's base currency by default and can show converted prices in the buyer's currency. Stripe handles multi-currency checkout and settlement.
What about consignment? My artists want to see their inventory.
The Atelier plan includes a consignment portal where your artists can log in and see exactly which of their works are in your warehouse, on display, on loan, or sold. It eliminates the weekly "where is my piece?" email.
How does Galexivo compare to the premium UK incumbent — you know the one?
